Currently one of our clients in Oil and Gas Operator Company Overseas requires several positions below :


1. Production Technologist

General Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree level preferably in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum average of 7 years in Oil & Gas Industry
- Pass TPCP Level 3

Job Descriptions:
1. Perform well performance review, diagnosis / analysis and improvement activities or studies on short term well performance to maximize NPV of the reserves in accordance with reservoir management and HSE policies, using appropriate technology application, in line with field life cycle management and good oil/gas field practices.
2. Ensure implementation of routine and special through tubing activities to support production optimization and enhancement activities and provide support for efficient working practices and basis for technical and economic decisions.
3. Perform specialized support and services on production optimization and enhancement activities to ensure that oil and gas reservoirs are being produced in the most efficient manner, consistent with sound reservoir engineering practices and exercise financial prudence.
4. Perform specialized well performance, surveillance and production enhancement, optimization and relevant production technology studies and support on reserves addition and/or production enhancement/optimization initiatives or projects (including IOR/EOR)
5. Perform short term production performance review and well/field technical potential forecast to ensure maximum reserves recovery in accordance with reservoir management policies and sound reservoir engineering practices.
6. Perform yearly well performance review / update on field for management update/review.
7. Implement well integrity solutions through effective diagnostic plan and analysis, well intervention proposal and work over initiatives to maximize well availability for optimum field production.
8. To participate in the preparation of Full Field Review (FFR) and Field Development Plan post implementation close-out reports (i.e. Lessons learnt and recommendations for future Field Development Plans).
9. Coach, mentor and guide junior staff and conduct periodic performance review. Counsel/motivate staff to instill right mindset, behaviors and values to attain high performance standard.
10. Communicate and interpret the objectives and provisions of the Codes of Conduct (COC) and HS policies to all levels of staff. Undertake appropriate mitigation/intervention program and sustain high staff discipline and industrial harmony.
11. To perform specialized petroleum engineering and production technology services and studies to undertake field surveillance activities, reservoir management studies, reserves addition implementation initiatives, Full Field Review and implementation program and related sub-surface activities in-order to achieve optimum hydrocarbon production, reserves exploitation and growth inline with PCSB current and future business requirement.


2. Cost Control

General Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree Level in Engineering
- Minimum average of 8 years in Oil & Gas Industry

Job Descriptions:
1. Develop, analyze and review a consolidated DDs overall project cost identifying areas of concern and recommend counter measures and next course of action to recover and mitigate to cost overrun and achieve the project objectives to enable achievement of maximum PCSB project value creation.
2. Implement an effective cost performance management system emphasizing the actual cost performance against budget on both cost overrun and under run. Report and advise the variances and action plan to reduce the risk to ensure early rectification by management.
3. Analyze and review the action plan of the cost performance gaps and variances for management deliberation taking into consideration constraints faced by the projects.
4. Maintain project information database for internal benchmarking within Division or PCSB in the areas of cost performance.
5. Proactive reporting and follow up on project activities and action items:
- Establish and maintain reporting system for issuing monthly highlights to management
- Provide presentation materials for meeting/discussions.
6. Provide training and coaching to develop Cost Controller within the Department in areas of cost control to ensure standards and consistency across PCSBs projects


3. Project Planning / Scheduling

General Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree Level in Engineering
- Minimum average of 8 years in Oil & Gas Industry
- Familiar with project control software such as Microsoft Project & Primavera

Job Descriptions:
1. Develop, analyze and review a consolidated DDs overall project schedule identifying areas of concern and recommend counter measures and next course of action to recover the progress shortfall and achieve the project objectives to ensure achievement of PCSBs target.
2. Develop and coordinate the overall project schedule, work breakdown structure that cover all activities and major milestones with logical sequence to ensure successful project completion for maximum value creations of PCSBs project.
3. Develop, review and analyze the Long Term Master Integrated Plan for drilling rigs, installation barges, hook-up commissioning vessels, fabrication yard loading in order to integrate and align with PCSBs objectives.
4. Proactive reporting and follow up on project activities and action items.
- Establish and maintain reporting system for issuing monthly highlights to management.
- Provide presentation materials for meeting/discussions
5. Provide training and coaching to develop Project Planners within the Department in areas of Project Scheduling, Project Management tools i.e. utilization of CPM Project Mgmt Software and effective Schedule development.


4. Cost Estimation

General Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree Level in Engineering
- Minimum average of 8 years in Oil & Gas Industry

Job Descriptions:
1. Lead and conduct comprehensive technical studies to optimize configuration and analyze specific requirement to derive the best conceptual selection option leading to optimum project development cost option.
2. Develop cost estimate for domestic and international projects development and asset acquisition, which includes cost basis, work breakdown structure, cost estimating types & application and resources planning.
3. Scan domestic and global market cost data, cost indices, trending and analysis, and cost estimating techniques and standard as well as networking with equipment vendors/suppliers and
4. Construction/fabrication contractors in order to enhance market intelligence thus ensuring the cost estimate is of good accuracy and reliable.
5. Develop and update project costing database and techniques & procedures for project cost estimation to comply with industry standards, regulation and company requirements.
6. Participate and provide guidance in areas of cost estimate and trending to the project teams and in overall project economic studies covering the project initiation phase through the execution phases (design, procurement and tendering, fabrication) and recommend course of action on issues relating to project costing. Perform quality control and assurance specialist review, assess operating performance and study/analyze all feedbacks on cost optimization.
7. Participate in project negotiation in area of surface engineering, providing the cost analysis and benchmarking, in pursuit of business capture with host National Oil Company, partners and competitors.
8. Participate in pursuance of new technology advent and project management practices to meet new technical challenges in project development and operational requirement
9. Establish, promote and enhance networking with vendors, PSC Partners and other E&P operators to benchmark PCSB competitive edge in line with industry practices.
10. Participate and contribute technical standards and engineering practices to the technical professional bodies and presentation of technical papers in domestic and international seminars and conferences.
